Move Day ONLY One Week Away

Next week I will be moving into the house and the renovations are getting closer to being finished. Luckily I have an amazing contractor, Gerard Williams Consulting, that has been working very hard to meet the deadline I gave him roughly 4 weeks ago. Gerard and his team have done an amazing job and he probably has wanted to kill me on more than one occasion but is very accommodating.

Luckily I have an great sister that has prepped a few meals for me this week because everything I have is packed and ready to go. I can't wait to get back to cooking, and testing out my new range. The next photo I post, the kitchen will be done. Almost there!

Demolition Day

I bought a house. A house that needs renovations.

I maybe bit off more than I can chew right now so to speak. School is starting to wrap up but I still have until the end of July before I'm complete, so it's full on work my tail off. However, I decided to renovate the house I bought before moving in, against all warnings and advice from people around me, to hold off until school is complete. I sold my house a little while ago and bought a new place closer to the kids school. The sad part is I totally love my townhouse in Parkdale and will miss it SO much. The good news is there will be much less driving and the kids are closer to their friends. The bad news is the kitchen had to go and well a lot of other things too.

The demolition of the Tuscany home started today so I'm going to be sharing some photos on the progress as it unfolds. This is no little job and the renos will hopefully go smoothly and I will move in less than a month.

I have a vision for the new home, family friendly, warm and cozy but clean lined with a modern edge. Once the team and I are done putting it all together it's going to look great. Funny thing is it looks so much better already!!
