I think the staff at Community Foods were starting to wonder if I ever cooked a meal or ate at home so I decided I better venture out and try something new. The truth is I have been in the middle of a move for what seems like a month and actually it has probably been three weeks of packing, moving, unpacking, setting up beds, furniture shopping, last minute renovation decisions, school and trying to eat healthy on top of everything. Community salad bar has been saving my life but I had a chance to stop in to Fresh Kitchen in Altadore and wanted to share my experience.

Fresh Kitchen is an amazing little shop in Altadore that saved my life on a few occasions now. They have ready made, clean food, ready to pick up or you can also order meals ready made to pick up for the week. They can do gluten free meals upon request as well.

Ready made salads are prepared and can be found in the refrigerator along with a selection of good quality chocolate, sandwiches, drinks and pretty much anything else you could want. They also have a little espresso bar for the coffee lovers. Fresh, local food prepared and ready to go, what could be better?
