WILD Fish

Whenever I recommend wild fish, the most common reply is, where and how much. Wild fish and farmed fish are not the same at all. Wild is the way to go for your Omega 3 oil that seems to help anything from depression to heart disease. I like to think of farmed fish as processed meat, because really it is.

The problem with living in a prairie provence is where to find wild fish. There are a few seafood places in Calgary that carry some wild fish when it is available but, lets be honest, its expensive. My budget is just not conducive to buying wild fish two times a week for me and my fish loving bright eyed kids. I have found great success with Kirkland brand of wild fish at COSTCO. Yes, Costco carries wild fish in their freezer section and if your are lucky, freshly caught when it's in season. Now there is NO reason to not include fish in your diet, unless of course you are a vegetarian, then that's another story.
